PARIS by Night

One of my favorite things to do in Paris is to "wander aimlessly" after dark. As the lights come on, a different world emerges and it's incredibly beautiful! Buildings that look nice during the day really come alive in late evening with light and shadow enhancing the elaborately designed architecture. It gives me the opportunity to practice my night photography too!

Main streets, walkways and areas along the Seine River take on an enticing glow.






Those quaint little bistros on the side streets take on a quiet and intimate feeling...quite conducive to romance!


And shadows.....I just love shadows. The light shimmering through the long, elaborate walkways of the Louvre create intriguing patterns everywhere!


The beauty of the more famous buildings just speak for themselves.





SIGH.....night time in Paris.....what a memorable treat!
