Our visit to Guildhall, the twelfth century town hall of London, was a really special treat for me. Aside from the magnificence and age of the structure, I remembered attending a banquet there 39 years ago on my first trip to London. Back then I thought of Revolutionary War era structures in the U.S. as old. Then I visited Guildhall. It certainly changed my perspective!
